Question - How to create html sitemap wordpress.

Answer - You need to remember that Pages in Wordpress are dynamic. What does this mean? First when you create a new page, you do not put any code in the page. You create a template, ie a .php file and place this in the wp-content/theme/ folder (for the theme that you are working on). Then link the page to the template using the Dashboard interface

So in this example you login to Filezilla. Locate the folder wp-content/theme/ and create a new file, which you could name sitemap.php and insert the following code at the top of the page Save the file.

Open up wordpress by logging in through wp-admin/ and create a new Page which you could call site-map. Type in Site Map and surrond b h2 tags. Look on the right hand side of your dashboard for Template. You should see sitemap as one of the drop down options. Select sitemap as your template for this page by saving.

When you your website/site-map/ link on a a page the wordpress page will use the code in your template to display posts and pages from your website in a list.
